Tadley Men's Shed Home

Welcome to Tadley Men's Shed.

We now meet at our very own Portacabin workshop at St Mary's Church, Newchurch Road, RG26 4HQ every two weeks at 2pm. (For those with AWE connections we will meet on AWE Non Working Friday's.)

Our 'Shed' has been Officially opened. On Friday 19th January the Mayor and Mayoress David and Amanda Leeks did the honours for us and cut the ribbon to declare our workshop open. See below for some photos.

Please check the Latest News section on the right of this page for when our next meeting will take place or contact us for more details.

Workshop Update

We have been busy building Brian Coles design of benches / housings for the Thicknesser / Planer and also the Router Table. They are almost complete thanks to Brian and others who have helped. It makes the Shed look a lot tidier and more spacious. Plus shelves being fitted, the wood turning lathe getting sorted and much more.

What else have we been doing? There is a 'wind machine' being constructed for the summer Holiday Club. (No is doesn't involve any baked beans!), a table being repaired for St Mary's Church, preparation for constructing more benching from old pallets at the Hurst School and we have our first visit from 6 lads from Burnham Copse School who assembled a bird box kit each.
